I guess that’s who I grew up on as far as science fiction goes. Heinlein and ERB writing about Mars. Secret agents with perfect minds and normal guys on low-gravity planets. Supermen. Great technology, too. Like this stuff as an alternative to fossil fuels.

Dare to dream. Forget about the flying cars and teleporters. Seriously: I think the one technological advancement I would really like to see before I die is the sort of ecologically responsible tech the article talks about. (Okay, space colonization too, but I can handle small steps.)

And lightsabers. Someone needs to get crackin’ on those.
