Well, I should be writing stuff for NaNoWriMo, and if you want to get more bits and pieces of text to read, you should checking in on the WiD link to your right. (No, your right. You’re other right. As you face the screen. THERE you go.) There’s a few posts going on there, and I daresay I’ll want a break on Tuesday and will have more goodness up here. (Something a little more deep than “I’m cool because I’m posting from a PDA phone” anyway.)

I’m back in Denver, in case you guys missed it (although the hit count says you still all got the love). Portland was great, the good stuff was great, and the fair stuff was good… hell, I didn’t even bitch (much) about the weather (although I do have some things to say about it now that I’m back in Mostly Sunny land). It was All Good.

Very glad to be home, though. I’m usually home in 4, not 5 days, and I’m told that Jake knew this: all last night (when I ‘should’ have been home) he was going to the front door whenever he heard a car. He just about turned himself inside out when I showed up (also, caught his canine on my earring… yeeeouch).

I’m with him: it’s good to be back. It’s good to get the big wet doggie tongue bath. It’s good to have some stories to tell.

Now, speaking of stories…
