The Ambercon crew is just getting in the middle of the preparation craze. I'm doing name tags this year, so I get to tear my hair closer to the con... but the 'real' con committee is getting the game book to the printer this week... busy busy busy.

Hope you don't mind I pointed a friend of mine to try and start a dialogue with you. James and Carla are in the intitial process of trying to get custody of his niece.

Probably a similar story to the boy's - Her mom was pregnant at 15 or something heinously young, had a second kid a year later, has never held a job, vicously attacks the adult household members where ever she is living... (put 5 stitches in her own mother's head with a thrown dish) Just a crazy life for this kid to be involved with.

I thought you could give Carla a viewpoint, and perhaps some support, if needed. An imposition, I know, from someone you've never met... but with such similar situations, you never know what may come of a chance contact. Right? Hope you okay with it.
