So I was poking around at the Second Annual Weblog Awards. Thoughts:

- Lots of people I know, lots more people I don’t. Go Space, Go MG, Go B, and Go Wil.

- Noah Grey nominated for about a zillion things and withdrawn from all of them. Maybe getting an award or losing it would upset him, and he seems upsettable, but… leaving his name up on the page with (withdrawn) underneath instead of a radio button seems a trifle… “I’m changing my name to an unpronouncable symbol.” Either take the name off the list entirely, or ignore the whole fucking thing.

- Lifetime achievement award. “Must be blogging since Jan. 2000.” For a Lifetime Achievement award. We’ve got the life-expectancy of Mayflies out here, people.

Moooving on

I’ve been remiss in my blogging and ego feeding, and I think at least part of it is that I feel cut off from my site statistics. I like to know who’s visiting, who’s linking me, and GODDAMMIT, it’s just about impossible for me to see referrals. Hit counts are fine, but I want to know who’s coming over to visit, dammit.

Enough about that. The hits are still good and high, so people are still coming round, and that should be enough to keep my fingers on the keyboard.

That and the boredom.
