This period’s Blogger Insider questions come from Brandy, who I assume will be posting answers to my lame questions over there. Here are hers for me, and my answers:

1) If you were a woman, what would you spend most of your time doing?

Must. Resist. Easy. Joke.

Ahh, I think that’s a hard question to answer, but I’ll narrow it down to ‘thing you’d do a lot that you can’t as a man’, I think that might be have kids. Not constantly, of course, but really, what other thing is so specifically female but that?

2) If you could change something about yourself, what would it be and why?

I’d listen better. Not just ‘make listen face’, I’d actually listen more attentively.

3) What do you drive?

2000 Dodge Dakota, white. I love pickups, and I love this pickup. The only thing I’d replace with with would be a 4-door Dodge Ram, or a Silverado.

4) If you had to spend 5 years all alone (no interaction with the outside world at all), and you could only have ONE book or ONE cd, which would you choose and what would it be?

The “Riverside Collected Works of Shakespeare’. I love music, but I can’t think of any single collection that I wouldn’t get sick of in a five year, nay, five month period of time.

5) What do you think the best thing about getting older is?

Slight drop-off in the yearly incidents that result in mind-numbing embarassment.

6) Do you feel as though something has held you back in life?

I didn’t work at a job when I was in high school. That teaches you a certain discipline that you can’t get anywhere else. Most people will need to learn that they aren’t always the center of the universe, and working joe-jobs in your teens is a fairly painless time to learn that lesson.

I don’t know if it’s held me back, but it was something it took me a long time to learn later.

7) What in life are you most passionate about?

Right now, Justin. Nothing gets me wound up as much as his successes or failures.

That said, I get pretty wound up about a lot of other things as well.

8) Do you keep a traditional journal?

Nope. I did for about a year, but stopped about 18 months ago. This weblog is more satisfying, and geekier.

9) What was the last thing you purchased?

Me personally? A 20 oz. bottle of Diet Mountain Dew, a bag of Reese’s Pieces, and a bag of Almond M&M’s. Last major purchase was my ‘interview suit’.

10) What are some things that you find annoying?

  • Being asked the same thing twice.
  • Filling out multiple job resumes.
  • Waiting. For anything.

Honestly? I think I'd go and find out if all those things that guys typically think are cool or good for a woman actually are... like thongs, various forms of lingerie and heels.

After that, I'd probably go back to boxers, flats and pants.
