12 people have died in Colorado this year in skiing accidents… plowing into trees and so forth. Which is tragic and I’m not remotely making fun. It’s serious.

Just for the record, it is, in fact, 7 more dead in skiing accidents in Colorado than the total killed in the much-hyped shark attacks this year.

well, strapping slippery boards to your feet and sliding down a mountan (where there are trees and rocks and things) is sorta similar to going swimming in a shark infested ocean, or jumping out of a perfectly good airplaine, or any of the many other things that people do for fun.

natural selection.
