I’m over at the Consortium, typing on Margie’s nifty little home office. For those of you reading Dave’s blog and seeing mention of is basement renovations — let me just say from a first hand perspective: WOW. It looks great. Can’t wait to christen the fun new family area.

Game last night was good, thanks for asking.

We had an adventure today (Jackie’s birthday, everyone say “hey”), Diz managed to squeeze through a Diz-sized gap between backyard gate and backyard fence. Jake, no to be undone, proceeded to make a Jake-sized gap in the same place, which in turn completely destroyed the latching mechanism for the gate (and removed it). We spent an hour tracking the dogs in the snow, and found them about 10 blocks away, looking cold and thouroughly adventured. We are not so blase about the whole thing, and will be looking at a new gate mechanism very shortly… preferably something that fastens on the top and bottom (and can’t be shoved out of the way by a Bull-moose/dane/labrador crossbreed.

At the Consortium for the rest of the day. Dave has some cool features turned on on his Movable type client over here. I will have to investigate soon.
