Once again, the friday five.

1. What makes you homesick?
Which home? Being away makes me homesick for my current home. I guess hunting season makes me homesick for South Dakota. Riding around in the pickup with dad for 6 hours… not a bad way for a kid to bond.

2. Where is “home” for you? Is it where you are living now, or somewhere else (ie: Mom & Dad’s house, particular state/city)? Colorado. I don’t ever want to move, and I can’t imagine a scenario where I’d be convinced to move. To get more specific, I consider the Southwest section of the Greater Denver area to be my home.

3. What makes it home for you? People? Things? People. Making new friends sucks, and I feel very luck with the friends I have right now, and my ‘old’ friends who’ve moved out to this area (I just want to see them more than I do). Weather — coming from South Dakota, I’ve learned to really appreciate the weather here.

4. Where is the furthest you’ve been from home, miles-wise? Germany. 1989. Miles, I have no idea. The flight back to New York took a LONG time.

5. What are your plans for this weekend? Ugh. SW game tonight. Laundry and Downtime on Saturday, except I’ll have to print stuff for the DSG on Sunday, and maybe paint some lead… that sounds cool. Catch a movie. Sunday is the DSG, which I’m in charge of organizing, but it’s possible that it will finish up (very) early, so I might even be able to squeeze some downtime in on Sunday as well.
