I may have made a serious judgement error.

You see, my dog is great (and feeling much better, thanks to everyone who asked after him), but he does have one gastronomic failing; if you feed him new and unusual things, he will personally be very grateful, but his body will be extremely put-out, and will make its displeasure known after about… oh, say 3 or 4 hours.

The obvious solution to this is: don’t give him weird stuff to eat, but sometimes you just forget.

Well, okay, I just forget. Like a few minutes ago, when it occured to me that pouring the clam chowder sauce (left over from lunch) onto Jake’s dog food might have been a bad idea.

Understand that I wouldn’t mind if this were a small concern, but it’s not: this dog can wither plants, clear rooms, and bring tears to your eyes if you so much as feed him a tater tot. Nasty fumes. Nasty.

I live in fear of what I might have just done.
