So, this week and next, we’re actually implementing the New Hire Orientation that I’ve been killing myself developing for the last month or so (haven’t had a day completely ‘off’ for over two weeks, just ask my family).

In a sense having the project (almost) wrapped up is a good thing (so I can move on to the next way-too-close deadline), but what’s happening is that we’re running the class and the trainers are all sitting in on ALL of the new hire classes.

Which means I’m sitting in a four-hour class on PC Basics and Using Outlook this afternoon. Back of the class, please, Mr. Teacher.

Oh, ouch.

Maybe it would be possible to videotape, and then you could FF through the unnecessary spots and see if there are questions or problems that come up with the material. I mean, the idea of actually seeing how the materials work in the Real World is an excellent one, but this seems to be an unproductive way to go about it.

C'mon Doyce. I'm sure you'll learn all kinds of interesting things.

I am disappointed that with all of your free time that you haven't had time to blog more - need more reading material!!
