So I think I’ve finally figured out what Dizzy’s german shep breed is mixed with — while at the Petstore a few days ago, I saw a woman walking with a wag whose face and chest made him look nearly a twin for Dizzy. She’s got darker back (due to being half german shep), but if you acknowledge that half of the breeding is going to smooth out and darken her coloration a bit and make her ears perk up a bit more, it’s a pretty obvious.
The pix on the left is a mix of Dizzy pictures and Rhodesian Ridgeback pix — the most startling one to me, if you’ve seen Dizzy, is that confused guy in the bottom right… the hair-growth pattern on the chest is exactly the same as Dizzy’s.
Then there’s the one on the center right… which isn’t Dizzy. Uncanny.
