Interesting review on BoingBoing of what sounds like like a great book: London: the Biography.
Oh and I should have mentioned this earlier and the review, written by Cory Doctorow, reminded me — I recently (and finally) read Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom and recommend it heartily — I think I started reading it at about 5pm and finished it that night — which isn’t meant to imply that it reads fast as much as it’s hard to set aside.

I really must read it (though the little blurbs that Doctorow would put up on BoingBoing never impressed me all that much).

You know, I picked that up from the library, read 50 pages, said, "Who cares?" and tossed it aside.

Which? The London thing or the Doctorow thing?
