When my old bears-cave.com domain registration finally times out, two-thirds of the people who stop by every day will not be able to find me.

Which makes the "We're not lazy here. Except when we are." subtitle much more amusing.

Does stuff get automatically routed through from B-C to A-B? Would simply having a B-C index that didn't meta redirect, but just said, "Hey, this is going away RSN, so click on the link below, and upgrade your bookmarks" help?

You want lazy?

I use B-C because I go to less B named sites a day than A sites and so with A-B I'd have to go past more Av sites to finally come to A-B than Be sites to get to B-C.

Anything going to bears-cave just ends up at the average-bear equivilant of the same name.

Lazy: It's way easier for me to type bears-cave.com than average-bear.com, especially when I'm typing out email addresses.

Doesn't mean that I'm still using bears-cave.com anyway, but it annoys me every time.

Hi everybody, my name is Captain, and I'm a bears-cave.com user.

It's in my memory and it's easier to type.

Plus... I've always hated the term "average", even though I understand the Yogi reference.

Hmm.

One thing that's true -- bears-cave is easier to type.

I almost think I should run a poll to see which domain to keep... or a suggestion box for a new domain, since I'm not attached to this one more than any other.

But then I think that would be work, and I'm lazy.

Well, with bears-cave, it's really easy for my mind to drop into the gutter. But I also didn't really care much for Yogi bear... So, I'd vote for a brand-new domain. Hm. You could take "dabear.net"...

For me, bears-cave is easier than average-bear, like I rambled above, basicly because I have to type more of average-bear for my browers auto-complete to figure out what I'm going to than bears-cave.
