Yeah, yeah, end of an era, all very emotional, it was magical... etc etc.
Bottom line, spam killed the domain.
Thing is, if that had been the intended goal of the spammers, I would never let the domain expire, just out of orneriness. That's not the case though -- the spam has it's own goal, and bears-cave.com just got washed under in the deluge of crap.

Well, that's a pity indeed.

But... but... The spammers did it on purpose!!!
They just want bears-cave for themselves!
If you do it the terrorists win!
Umm... It's hard work!!!

alright...you PROBABLY don't remember me but we met once upon a time bout two three years ago through some mutal friends by the names of Jules and Rey. I was visiting and we all met at your house for a game of...er...well something! I didn't say much then but Jules and Rey were constantly referring me to witty things you'd said here and I became hooked on your point of view. What am I supposed to do if this goes bye bye? How will I get my daily dose of sarcasm? Please...say it isn't so.

Umm... just bears-cave.com domain is going away.
Average-bear.com is still here. Will still be here. The blog will remain and continue in it's inspiring mediocrity.
Folks just won't be able to get here by typing in http://www.bears-cave.com
