Busy, or hectic, or lazy times at Casa del Testerman these last few weeks.
Too many antibiotics — I don’t think I’ve ever felt really motivated to chew my way through the whole treatment cycle before, but I do this time.
City of Heroes is quite fun and addictive, yes… but I’ve found that there are several things that distract me from playing it. Good to know that the grip isn’t total.
I need to get to the gym. Between the holidays and not wanting to get sweat in my head wound, there really hasn’t been a good time to go since New Years. Ugh. Head wound’s pretty well closed up now, though, so time to get back on the training cycle.
There’s other news to share, but I want to make sure that everyone local gets it from my actual talking mouth before I broadcast it here, and I just thought of someone who hasn’t yet, so that waits. Neener neener.

I've been going strong in World of Warcraft. Works really freakin' slick on my G5. If City of Heroes had a Mac client, I'd be there.

Yeah, their "why bother" attitude with non-pc platforms is odd.
And of course Blizzard has always been good about releasing mac versions of stuff.
I dern't even look at WoW right now. I've got six months paid for on CoH and I know WoW would suck both me and Jackie in.
As it is, it only took about 30 minutes on CoH to hook her solid.

I know that there is a tiny market for CoH on Linux and OS X, but obviously there's enough Mac people who buy Blizzard stuff that they keep it coming. From looking at what runs in the background on WoW, it's Java heavy, I'm sure CoH is similar.
If you ever hook on to the crackpipe that is WoW, I'm on the Uther realm.

Who doesn't know that would actually find out about it here?

Clovis, who are you on Uther?
I've got a laundry list of characters there: Naeve, Sylvanspear, Siobhan, Nionne, Deirdre. My main just hit 30.
Had trouble getting on last night so I hopped over to Argent Dawn instead. For some reason, there was a queue of 703 to get on the server, which was the first time I ever ran into a queue on Uther.
