I can’t believe that, a few weeks ago, I told someone my favorite holiday tune was “Let it Snow.” What was I thinking?

Still, it is very pretty, afterwards…

(Click for bigger picture.)

Pix is by Kate, unforgiveably reduced in size by me so that my file upload restrictions would accept it.

Update: Kate posted more pictures on her site (and obliquely mentions that I stole the best picture for average-bear; does she not know that ‘stealing’ is how I get all my best picture? Sheesh!)

By this point a snowy scene would have to be incredibly beautiful for me to see it as even marginally pleasant.

I've had enough of Nifflheim.

Wow. That's ...

... *sigh* ... still looking forward to being home.

Wow you do have the snow! Yes it is beautiful. Reminds me of 10 years ago here when we had snow about every 3 days plus wind. I had worked for Swenson's for 11 years at that point and never had to stay a single night in town to be at work. That year I stayed in town 11 nights so I could be at work! But like your snow it was beautiful and we had great tobogganing!

Coming back into town, I was amazed to see something that one almost *never* sees in Denver -- *dirty snow*, stuff that's been around long enough to pick up dirt and road debris and turn into a large, icy, crusty mess.

Chicago or Minneapolis or Buffalo I'd expect it. Denver? Never.

And the hits just keep on coming!
