How disassociated from the human condition does one have to be to see the footage from WTC and think “I must get my hands on the rights to THAT.” Sure, eventually, someone is going to think of it, because that is the way the world works, but to think of it within bare hours of the attack. Bereft.
This reminds me of a news bit I heard on the radio yesterday. The FBI, CIA and several other TLA’s have approached Hollywood producers and directors, asking them to think of other ways terrorists might attack in horrible ways — then think of ways to defeat the plan they just proposed.
