My friend De, whose due date was October 11th has been (not so) patiently waiting for something, anything, to happen. She’s done with this pregnancy thing, has announced it’s really not that bad, but she’s ready to move on to the “Mom” part.

This morning, I receive email:

My water just broke! Ahahahahaha!

Honey, if you’re reading this, just for the record, I won’t expect you to personally let everyone know when your water breaks or when labor commences. Seriously, I know it’s a stretch, but I feel like that might be one of the tasks that I can handle for you.
