I’ll know tomorrow.

Quote from 2nd interview this morning: “Well, we had this one gal in yesterday morning who would already have been hired, except then you came in.”

That’s me, hiring-process monkeywrench.

Update

I got the job offer. I’m taking it. In some parallel universe where the economy doesn’t suck, I’d turn it down, but I’ve met too many people in the last month that that have been looking for a looooong time.

So. Job. Took me 28 days. Same as February.

Comments

Course, the guy I talked to this morning is talking as though there's more focus on training and travel and less on in house phone support.

If that's the case, they're going to give me a raise very quickly :P

Wow, go mom...
grab that technology and run with it...

I remember in the 70's, my mom was convinced that computers were evil and a signal that the world was ending*. Then she got back in the workforce and learned to use one... she's hooked. She even has a 'home office' for her computer set-up.

* I am not conviced that she was wrong, mind you...

So am I lame because I mom posted to my site, or cool because she figured out HOW to?

Congrats Doyce. I hope it turns out to be something you'll enjoy.

As for Mom. Moms are cool. Go Mom. Grab that technology and make it your b*tch.

Excellent. I to know the feeling of wishing you could turn it down for the "perfect" job, but now adays, the perfect job is the one with a paycheck.
