Some of you have heard me mention this really cool picture of the earth at night, a composite of several satellite shots. I found it once and couldn’t again, which was at least as frustrating (I think) for those people I raved about it around as it was for me.

But, thanks to Blather, it’s back… or something. Have a gander.

And I will tell you right now, my geography sucks...
What's that huge city-cluster west of Wisconsin? Huh?
Is that somewhere in the Dakota's? It's shedding as much light as the Detroit/Flint/Lansing megacity...
I swear Detroit's brighter than LA... how sad.

Wow, go Japan...
India's got a good bit of light bleed, too...

And it looks like nobody sleeps in Hawaii...

This is way cool. Let me know if you find a source for a print copy?
