So, shown the way by Jon and by my last post, I checked out Virg’s blog to discover that he’s having a really tough time with a few things. (Not entirely true — he’s basically building a house from scratch and essentially deciding not to let these ‘minor things’ bother him… because that’s who he is.

Jon’s right: on one hand… everyone knows about my life, so they’re connected to me, but on the other, I’m less connected to them.

I need to call Virg. If you know him, or his blog, send him a line or post a comment here and I’ll see that he gets it.
