The Sunday Five

1. Hey, baby, what’s your sign? Do you think it fits you pretty well?
Aquarius, and yeah: gregarious and argues for the sake of arguing.

2. What’s the worst birthday gift you’ve ever received?
Hmm. Toughie. I think I may have repressed it. My grandmother gave me a used set of kitchen knives once. That was pretty lame.

3. What’s the best birthday gift you’ve ever received?

I generally tend to get better Christmas presents than birthday present, just because people will get me something nice and tell me they aren’t getting me anything for my birthday to make up for it. Such is the bane of a mid-winter birth.

4. What’s the best way you’ve celebrated your birthday thus far?

My 21st was alright, since it involved by sterotypically out-of-my head in what, for South Dakota, was a atypical way, but it ended strangely with an abortive and ultimately frustrating personal encounter? Could I be more vague? If I could have been, I would have.

I don’t remember which birthday this was, but… let’s say 28th or 29th we spent getting really drunk at the Corsortium and then sleeping over. That was just fun to do something juvenile with a bunch of old people adults.

5. What are your plans for this weekend?

Weekends almost over. Game on Friday was good, Dave and Lori were buy on Saturday night until late (I spent the rest of the day napping, which didn’t suck). Today (Sunday) we’re running errands, which involve depositing an unexpected-but-welcome expense check from my old job and getting shots for Dizzy. I’m going to try to get to bed early, since I start my new job tomorrow.

Ok, Doyce, now I'm wracking my tiny brain, trying to remember your 21st b-day. Did it, perhaps, involve getting messed up and going to see the movie Grand Canyon, (which was very, very weird in that state)? Or was that my birthday?

You're remembering the event correctly, which in itself is surprising :)
