Work starts today. No idea when I’m supposed to be there (did I mention the office is sort of new to this whole idea of hiring people? they have 5 employees now), so I’m just going in around 8:30. Seems about right.

Jackie asked if I’m excited about my job. Well, it’s mostly paperwork and moving in on the first day, plus no one can seem to agree on which part of the laundry list of things they need done is my actual official ‘job’, so I don’t know what to get excited about.

I guess I’m excited that I won’t get bored: they want a documentation/support/technical trainer with database experience.

I’m just the Frankenstein for the job.
