hmph. i'm still waiting to see where the things are actually going to be allowed to travel... on the sidewalk? ont he road? looks like a disaster to me, either way...
those prices for museum artifacts aren't half bad... if nobody ever gets a chance to use one 'in real life.'

My work is going to get one as soon as they are on sale to companies.
Someone on the Board there is an investor in Kamen's company.
He's a pretty brilliant guy, Segway looks neat for a place like my work, 77 acres.

these people probably wanted to support FIRST - plus get their name in the news for five seconds, and a handshake from Dean Kamen. Nevertheless, it's good publicity - we are really interested in the Ibot, and it's good if those prices will come down by the time the FBA approves those robots.
