Out of the office at the client site again today, guys — many apologies for the scarcity of posts.
Blame… I dunno, blame Dave. And TC… and definately blame Bill (the rat bastard put them all up to it!)
In personal news, I am told that I kicked ass and took names at the user-site yesterday — they called the regional director guy and gave me glowing reviews, so Go Me.
Minor downside, apparently I’m asskicking my way out of a trip — since I’ve “got this” (and yeah, I can hear my player-group snickering in the background at the phrase “I got this”, I’ll probably skip the training classes on the new software and just get certified online.
On the one hand, sort of a gyp, but on the other, larger hand, I’m glad that (a) I don’t have to be gone 2 weeks to a class and (b) I’m saving the company some cash.
Everyone seems really pleased with how this is working out — I’m one of those people.
(disclaimer: I don’t think Bill actually has anything to do with all my out of the office time, but since he’s not getting hatemail from the Boston Globe, I wanted to blame him for something so he’s not feeling left out.)
