A few days ago, I wrote a short little thing that no one… well, let’s be kind to my fragile male ego and say I didn’t hear from anyone who liked it :)

Anyway, in the comments, I mentioned that the idea for the thing came from a … I believe I called it a “repetitive piece of crap” poem that I’d written previously.

Well, I guess I should have left the idea as a poem, since it’s been received much better. Bansheestudios.net is publishing the original poem “Elements” in their May issue’s Poetry section. I’ll provide a link when there’s one to provide.

But, I remember that post . . . although I am not sure whether that is because of the writing or whether it is because I thought I knew who you were talking about. I never posted my opinion because I was unable to form an intelligent one. It struck a chord... Just not a comfortable one. I wanted more... But I can't say why. The sensation was achingly familiar... But I've never been there. If you have other writing like it... Yes, please.
