1. Frito Lay original corn chips seem (to me) to be the ideal shape for dipping.

2. There is nothing I can think of that would taste good when mixed with their distinctive flavor in the aforementioned dipping scenario.

Frankly, I’m at a loss.

We talking Fritos here?

Spicy bean dip. That's about it. They have a lot more flavor (and salt) than most salsas will handle, and gooey white creamy dip sauces are just an abomination before the Lord, so we won't even go there.

I can eat about four handfuls of Fritos before I overload on grease and salt. And that's saying something, since I've worked up quite an immunity to both substances over the years.

Refried beans with cheese. I learned this after reheating some leftovers from a mexican restaurant.

The girlfriend once made us chili bowls with Fritos. I've also seen a salsa-sour cream mixture used.

I eat about 11 Fritos and call it "done." I don't even like them. It's strange, but it's a weird craving I get and so there's a bag in my room...slowly going stale.

Peanut butter.
I'm not joking.

chili, get the big "scoops" or crunch them into it. Nothing better.

Me, I'm a sucker for Cheetos over Fritos, so I don't tend to get Fritos much.

Hot cheese dip. Not that store-bought crap, but done in a fondue pot or somesuch. With maybe some chili or meat mixed in.

I do like the "ooey white creamy dip sauces" but they have to be homemade. No store-bought crap again here. Lipton's dry onion soup mix, 16 oz. of sour cream, mix and let sit a few minutes.

Yum. Good thing it's lunch time.

I'd have to go with cheese dip as well, though I'm not a purist - that Velveeta mixed with a can of chili stuff goes very well.

Of course I haven't really eaten Fritos since I craved them while pregnant and ate so many I got physically ill.
