The Friday Five still isn’t, y’know, working, so here’s some answers to an old set of questions:
1. Where were you born (city or state or just country)?
Huron, South Dakota.
2. What is your favorite number?
Between 1 and 10? 5. Unlimited selection? 23.
3. Vanilla or chocolate?
Vanilla. I’ve got nothing personally against chocholate, though, and really like Hershey’s chocolate syrup over vanilla ice cream.
4. What section of a bookstore would I find you in?
SF/Fantasy.
5. What kind of mattress do you have on your bed? soft? firm? water?
King-sized, double-sided, pillow-top from Denver Mattress Company. Firm, but with a lot of cushy to snuggle into — ees veddy niice.
[Extra] What are you doing this weekend?
- Friday: Parents, both mine and Jackie’s, are arriving around 5 pm this afternoon. No idea what we’re doing this evening, but it might involve going out to eat or summat.
- Saturday: Maybe a run to the Denver Botanical Gardens in the morning with Dave. Jackie’s graduation is at 1:30 in the afternoon, with food and drink afterwards at the house.
- Sunday: My folks are heading back home, while Jackie’s (who haven’t been out here to see us since the mountains were a little taller than they are now) will be headed out on Wednesday, so I imagine we’ll be doing tourist-y things that day.

Jackie finished her degree (after postponing her school to move to Colorado) and is graduating tomorrow (there will be a post about it with details).

1. I forgot to mention that my folks pass on their warmest regards and congrats to Jackie.
2. Detailed post? Cool. Maybe you can transcribe that tribute speech you did which I missed most of during Katherine Duty.
