We’ll we’re in South Dakota, which is hot and humid, but the folks have air conditioning, so it’s not too bad where I’m actually sitting :)
The road trip was long and also really long, but Justin read some Harry Potter to us, and I read most of Strange Weapons to Jackie while she drove, then we talked about what I should write this year, and why I haven’t been doing much work on trying to find a publisher. (Lazy bastarditis, I think.)
We arrived around 3:15 am Denver-time and promptly crashed until noon, which is fine, since Dad was working on stuff all morning and Mom’s at work anyway.
It’s Jo’s (mom’s) birthday today, which were celebrating by fixing up her computer a little bit and visiting and having some pretty good porkchops and visiting and playing about a hundred hands of Uno and visiting and then maybe visiting some more.
Dad’s in good spirits, and gave us a lot of new literature to read. Education is good.
Again, it’s really hot. Justin says he’s bored, which is rude when you’re visiting someone else but hey, it’s South Dakota, so who can blame him? :)
