Rooba has a link to this damn typing test. Two things I’ve learned thus far:
1. At 53 words per minute (~325 correct keystrokes/min.), I’m not as fast as I thought I was.
2. The whole thing would be a lot easier if the paragraphs you were copying made any kind of sense whatsoever.

72wpm. And, yes, something sensical would probably be easier.

60 WPM, and hell yes, it'd be easier if the sentences made any sense whatsoever.

My last one was 59 wpm, which I credit mostly to the fact that I've stopped actually reading the text that I'm supposed to be copying -- turning off my brain, at least the part that says "This crap doesn't making any friggin' sense." helps immensely.

Dang, I suck! :) I only hit 36 wpm...

Mine was 54wpm, but I blame some of the errors on the "i" key on my laptop that I've never taken in to get fixed. It often does a double 'i" if I don't pay attention to it.

Actually, the sentences made sense -- they're all famous quotes (I recognized some of them, and wish I had the sources for others). It's the paragraphs that don't.
I was also thrown by the scrolling two-line display, which is not only unrealistic, but kept me from "reading ahead" and being ready for what's coming.

39wpm! My typing teacher would pass a pickle! That's faster than I was in high school. And for those who know me, 39 wpm is pretty fast flying for these fat fingers.

OK I thought I was faster than this, I finally got up to 49 wpm, but I think the real proof is in the # of characters right per test and on that I was up to 298 which means I only got 2 words wrong the whole test! That has to count for something.
