Dave’s turned on MT’s TrackBack for the Thursday Thumb-Twiddler, so while I might never use it here exactly, I feel as though I really ought to upgrade to the newest version so I can at least let him test out the functionality. Maybe this weekend. Anyway, on to the questions.
1. One hot summer afternoon, while walking through a parking lot at a large shopping mall, you notice a dog suffering badly from the heat inside a locked car. What would you do?
Check to see if the car had a car alarm on it… you know, by bouncing it up and down. See if that gets anyone’s attention while I call the nearest animal control or humane society or barring that, the cops. If the situation’s still going downhill, I’d open a window the hard way.
2. You are in a restaurant rest room. You notice an employee leaving without washing his/her hands. Do you bring the matter to the attention of the owner or manager? If so, do you do it publicly or privately?
Yes, and privately. I’ve suffered food poisoning from mishandled food too many times in the last year not to take the whole thing personally.
3. What is one item you own that you really should throw away … but probably never will?
A couple of my old t-shirts from college that I never wear anymore (although I’m still able to). I’ve got an old green sweatshirt from school as well with many interesting holes in it, but that one’s not going in the trash til I make it back to USD to get a replacement.
