On the one hand, I’m getting nervous about Saturday, wondering if it’s going to wipe me out. I know I can do it, but I’m wondering if I can do it well.

Ditto finishing the short story for y’all. I’ve played some of the scenes out in my head, and I think it might be good, but…

On the other hand, I’m desperate for the thing to start, so I can do it and finish it. (The blogathon and the story… and whatever else I post, because I don’t know if the story will fill all 48 posts.)

48 posts (minimum). Seems like a lot. If 40 of them are the story, varying between 300 and 400 words, that 12 to 16-thousand words.

Then again, at least three people have put up Hourly Pledges, and I’m just a few pennies short of 300 bucks, so…

I’m overthinking it. I want to get started.
