Hey! I’m a quarter of the way through!
(The blogathon, that is… about a third of the way through the story, I think. Maybe.)
My mom called me up and chatted at me, so instead of the final part of the first third of the story, you get this post.
Show of hands: who would find it vaguely creepy to have your mom posting on your blog?
How am I keeping track of my posting schedule? Simplicity itself with this completely free timer software. Pretty cool stuff, and I’m pretty darn glad I found it.
Okay, need to get some more water, and close the rest of the windows in the house, then back to the story.

I don't know... I think it's kinda cool when my Mom posts to my blog...
It makes me realize that I finally made a post that didn't upset her.

I got my mom into blogging, but she has her own site...

I write with the knowledge that my family may read my blog at any time. The truth is, they really don't. Sometimes I think it disappoints me because it would be a good forum to express things I wish they knew about me, but intrafamily communication is, erm, not big in my household.
FM1: "Why is this turkey still not put away?"
Me: (while cleaning kitchen) "If it bothered you, you could do it."
FM1: "I hate all of you!"
Ask me again how I love being "almost 30" and living with my folks... heh.

My mom reads my blog regularly, but refuses, for some reason, to comment. Maybe she thinks it would weird me out.
