So I was messing around on , where you can basically place your web page within the vast family tree that is the narci-page.

What that means is, family-tree like, you can list your blog, and the ‘parent’ blogs that inspired you to get started.

So the fun part? Digging through your old archives and throwing my memory back back back to the dim fog of May, 2001 to find out that I have four mothers and one daddy.

Since that time, two of them quit blogging for awhile (sort of: robyn farmed hers out to a group collective instead), and one moved. Of them all, the one I still read is Meggan, so take that for what it’s worth. They were all very influential on what I did on this blog in the early days. That ‘thing’ has changed, but I still enjoy peeking at the old archives, so it couldn’t have been all bad.

Anyway, Blogtree. Sorta cool. Hope the registration doesn’t generate any more spam for me.

YEAH. The spam thought was what stayed my hand, when I went there.

Wish there was a way to know which action creates which spam flood. Sigh.

Aha! Glad you registered, so I can list you as my daddy.

Poppa!

Incidentally, I have 4 poppas, no mommas, a slew of sibs, and no children...yet.

Thanks for the head's up on that one.

I was one of the people who inspired you to start a weblog? That is so cool. Well, I'm glad you did decide to create Bears-Cave because it's one of my favorite weblogs.
