Jennifer Connelly, whom I’ve probably had a crush on since Labyrinth and who consistently blows me away in her movie roles with a sort of 1930’s, misty-eyed, silver screen voluptuousness, now looks like Monica from Friends, who doesn’t.
It’s just a damn shame, really.

Ack. I'm sure, after her Oscar win, she was told she must be a size 0 to have a chance at the really good roles. I remember reading an interview with Jennifer Aniston where she talked about the pressure to get bony just so she'd get good scripts. Explains why we don't see enough of Kate Winslet these days. She is unapologetic about being a size 8 or 10 or whatever.
