Finally back from Colorado Springs. Ugh. Long day.

Have to go back in the morning, too. Double ugh.

Got to see Lee and De, which was cool, and extra cool because the bebe didn’t scream and cry when she saw me this time. Ver’ ver’ helpful.

I’m such a pain in the ass about kids that age: ask my sister, ask anyone — I’ve had two sets of close friends with kids going through/into their second year and, watching them, I think I’m a damn expert and just spew predictions and advice for other people with kids that age like crazy. It’s got to be so annoying. Sorry about that, those of you who deal with it. I’m just storing up this toddler-info for such a time as when I can use it myself.

Of course, I’ll be too damn tired to remember it then.

Hey, if you're down here anytime after 4pm, my dad's band goes on stage to open the Manitou Mountain Music Festival (free, live, mostly folk music -- my dad's band at least does classic rock-and-roll) at Soda Springs Park around 4:15pm... I'll be somewhere around the sound guy. [grinning] And that lunch offer's still open.

Nah, you're not *that* annoying. And anyone who helps watch the kid gets the privilege of unsolicted advice.

Plus, we're taking notes, and will remind you of all of it sometime ...

advice is only unsolicited when it's annoying. uh, am i supposed to be taking notes on doyce's advice or just notes?

i still think she speaks in reverse. now that i think about it, i'm not sure what language she speaks in reverse.

anyway, thank you again, very muchly.
