Reporters investigating airport security were able to smuggle small knives and pepper spray through checkpoints at 11 U.S. airports during the Labor Day weekend. The reporters carried utility knives, rubber-handled razor knives, a pocket knife, a corkscrew, razor blades and pepper spray through every airport security checkpoint they encountered.

Shocked. That’s me. Yep. Schools suspend valedictorians for accidentally leaving a steak knife in the bed of their pickup, but the White Castle rejects manning the gates at U.S. international airports can’t find a hidden knife even after a bag search and shoe removal.

I mean, they removed their shoes, that pretty much has to reveal everything about the suspect, doesn’t it?

Doesn’t it?

Thats what happens when they lower the basic education and language requirements for a security person at the airports (a shoutout to the Democrats in the Senate for that!). Oh and thanks Norman Minetta for being a waste of a SecTrans (a shoutout to the Democrats that voted for him and the Republicans that put his name in for the job!)

Crap the whole thing is so fouled up there isn't a way to fix it.

Hows about, one armed or taser and pepper spray Federal Agent on each plane that holds more than 60 people. Is that so hard?

(60 and above being the planes that don't simply bounce off things).

Hey now, my husband is testing for one of those jobs, and his is no White Castle Reject. The test is a minimum of 4 hours and 61% of the people who take the test flunk it! So back off. Is it an overpaid federal job - absolutely - why do you think he would apply for something so boring with crappy hours and bad uniforms.

Certainly, Reggie's presence could do nothing by raise the collective intelligence of gate-screeners country-wide.

No doubting that at all.
