Normally, it’s not worth my time, but I’m enjoying the show a lot, and Fox is so lame and flakey about supporting its shows.

I missed the first ep.

Watched the second from midway. Didn't like it at all.

The uniforms from Starship Troopers bug me.

OK. The Bellboys need to ditch the Starshp Troopers gear.

And the M-9s and SA-80s and MP-5s. At least Farscape did a good job covering up the Steyr Augs.

I had the first one recorded, then didn't watch it, last week was crazy, then I remebered I did a Save One Ep schedule on the Replay, so I missed the first one when Ep 2 went over it.

I don't mind the armor because it seems like a logical way for body armor to have evolved.

As for covering up the guns, they probably look like MP5's because they're supposed to be MP5's (or MP15's, or something) -- since this is a setting where really cool lasers exist, but no one can really afford them as personal protection. Remember that comment you made to me once about the (lack of) evolution in shotguns? If the design works well enough, evolution lags :)

And if you missed it, looks like Fox is showing a rerun of the first episode on Monday the 14th at 8:00PM.

Yea I was right about the shotguns and I forgot my own point.

Han Solo even used a Mauser mod'ed to a blaster :).

Heck, why MP-5s varants? They are balky with a low tolerance for dirt or unburned powder. I can see the 1911 or M-9, heck even a Glock (I shot my Model 19 5400 times without a jam before I cleaned it.). I want to see space AK-74s or M-4s.

Oh, I'm going to start really liking it and Fox will kill it.
