Belated congrats to my baby sister, who closed on her first house on Friday (I gather it was a stressed out, hair-pulling experience, but they got through it). The house has (I hear) a roomy backyard and some really interesting history from a time when parts of it used to be the local post office. Sounds pretty cool. I’m hoping to get a peek at it over the holidays.

Yes it was a bit of a hairy experience but the old saying, "what doesn't kill you... blah, blah blah. I almost called you to borrow money so I could have a couple of people terminated. And I don't mean fired!!! 4.5 hours is far toooooo long to be at a closing.

More trauma for the new home owners. The people who were to be renting the previous house backed out at the last minute so the kids have to come up with rent money for that too cuz they had a lease signed --youall know how that works.Anyway a stressed phone call to mom and dad.This month taken care of -but have all your friends send mind signals or whatever to S.Falls to any prospective renters so they can get out of this mess.
