When the weather allows, I drive my truck with the windows down and the A/C and heater off — better gas mileage and a better driving experience in general.
Today I suddenly started to get stressed out: my heart beat faster, I started getting angry and frustrated and worried all at the same time.
A few seconds later I realized I was reacting to a smell I had picked up from a couple cars pulled over on the side of the highway.
Nothing spells disaster like the smell of hot antifreeze.

You get even more nervous from the smell if you've ever been blasted in the midsection with it and had 2nd degree burns on 20% of your body. Beleefie me.

Ouch, Virg...!
Yeah, that smell...
I had a heater core blow on me in January... Gah, that smell...

Don't you hate that?
I do it all the time with smells and sounds. "Ooh! Do I have a squeeky brake or is it just the ratty minivan next to me... Crap!" "What the... Are those my valves going rat-a-tat-tat?! Oh, diesel pickup... That must be it."

Well, the morphine was fun. But a little note, never, EVER watch baywatch with a blistered weenie! *shudder*
