Justin is back ‘on track’ at school (he has breaks at weird places, since his schedule runs year-round), so he was up and getting ready for the bus before I had even dragged my sorry butt out of bed this morning. Somehow, and I’m not sure out this works, the fact that he’s getting up on his own and doesn’t need instructions on how to entertain himself for the whole day actually means that it takes me longer to get ready in the morning.

Or maybe it’s just that I overslept this morning after getting sucked into Resident Evil last night. That might be it.

(Yeah, playing a damn video game instead of working on my writing projects, I know. In my defense, I didn’t consciously decide to slack off — I actually just forgot I had stuff I wanted to work on.)
