Some people make “obsessive” into a category insufficient for the amount of time I’d like to spend reading them. Today’s Truth, for example:

He came in a few minutes later and said, “Um, mom, I don’t mean to be rude, but why do you want me to do this?” I didn’t pause; I said “I’m going to set the house on fire tomorrow.”
He was silent for about two seconds and then he said in a tone of pure fascination, “How?”
Not, “Why,” not “please don’t,” not “you can’t!” - “How?”
