The box of Kleenex I have at work are single-ply tissue. (“Eets waafar-theen.”)

Single-ply. In the land of giant-sized triple-cheeseburger combo meals, they sold me a box of single-ply tissues. When the hell did they decide to market something like that again? This is the land of excess, dammit: every time I use one I feel like I should be rationing sugar.

If your like me, (or I think, most humans) all you get with those is a handful of uck. That's why I am very careful to buy the Puffs Xtra Strength. You can blow your nose like a man and not get a palm-ful of snot and shreds. They'll make it through the wash without coating your clothes in white whatsit too. A good thing if your a parent of small children and constantly tucking hankies in your pocket. And no, I don't have any explanation as to why this is one of the longest comments I've ever made.

Puffs. The tissue that doesn't come with it's own lintpile.

Have you ever watched the waft of lintdust that comes out of a box of Kleenex when you pull a tissue?

I find that if it's a choice between Kleenex and brown paper towel, I will use the brown paper towel. Kleenex make me sneeze. (which may be why... naw - they wouldn't do *that*, would they...?)

With 5 people in your company you would think that none of you would be willing to cheap out on the collective box 'o Kleenex.

You know, I was going to say that I was all in favor of the good kind of tissue, but...after reading that last post, I'm wondering if I want something that spoogy next to my boogers in the first place. I may start going with the dry and scratchy now, myself.
