So I go to see The Ring.
Alone.
I get home, walk in the house, and the show Jackie’s watching abruptly and loudly goes to static — for no reason.
Then my phone rings.
So, to whomever called: apologies for not picking up.
No goddamn way I answered it.

Dude! Too freaky. I don't think I have been that scared, as opposed to startled, horrified, or grossed out, since I was a kid. Great movie. Everyone should see it. Heh heh. I said, everyone should see it. Heh heh.

Heh. Sounds like the time I watched Poltergeist, alone, in my folks' nice suburban house ...

I had an older cousin that lived in a single-wide about 30 feet from my house when I was 13-14 and he had a sat dish, and I was scared to death to turn on HBO because that damned Poltergeist was PG and it would play during the day.

I rented it and watched it Monday night. Really freaky, and wonderfully filmed. It didn't help that Randy kept calling while I was watching it. Overall, a good film, though I didn't like the fact that the ending was a set up for "The Ring 2".
