Reagan broke the rule.
Now it's an attempted assination or illness or murder.
Besides, it didn't happen before 1840, so maybe we get 48 years without it and then it kicks in again.
I remeber this 4th captured airliner that crashed/shotdown/compressor stalled into the Pennsylvania countryside that might have been trying to bring the curse to W.
Bush dies, then Dick dies, then it's President Hastert, the first Wrestling Coach president.
