I got feedback on Hidden Things from a fellow author who offers me hard-hitting, observant, and unapologetic critiques of my stuff. It’s sometimes a little hard to swallow, but it’s never wrong.
One off-the-cuff remark inserted amongst some great questions about the story indicated that she had no problems with the grammar. *
Reading that, after that day I’ve had, I could have danced a jig.
* - Not as nitpicky as it might sound — it’s (a) something I am notoriously sloppy about and (b) something she is very knowledgable on. I would have been suspicious if she hadn’t said something.

I'm almost certain that I don't want a critique of my NaNo output. I know what's wrong with it, thanks. =)
Mind you, the four people who absolutely INSISTED on having a copy of the whole damned thing haven't so much as hinted that they've read it. Oh well...
