Weather described as a ‘winter storm’ in Colorado is merely ‘trying to decide what it’s going to do’ in South Dakota.

Weather described as a 'winter storm' in Oregon is merely 'everyday life in winter' in South Dakota....

As a born-and-bred Californian, I'd say that Colorado's weather (Front Range) is just about right -- a modicum of variety without too much stuff to actually put your life in danger.

It's damn cold here in S.D. but we're a hearty stock and we can take it (about one more day then it better straighten out or I might have to think about leaving-and I've got an indoor job). It did finally snow so it does look like winter. We keep hearing that the Old Farmer's almanac says HUGH amounts of snow in March so watch out Colorada cuz you'll get it before we do.
