Ladies and gentlemen, one of the players I ejected from last weekend’s soccer game is now claiming that I shoved him off the court.
The rec center people don’t seem interested in my reply (which admittedly is the sort of heartfelt disbelief and head-shaking that doesn’t translate very well to an incident report anyway) — and actually seem quite put out that I’m disagreeing with the player’s claim, so I simply resigned to simplify matters.

I’m just astonished. Words fail me.

I'm trying to remember the last time I shoved someone in earnest.
I think I was in fourth grade.

hmmmm
And they wonder why they have a shortage of Ref's...How odd!?
You are the second person that I know that has given up ref'ing games. THe other guy I know got tired of people threatening he and his family with acts violance for making calls or tossing stupid people out of games.

While I can imagine you shoving someone under the right circumstances, Doyce, doing it as a ref in a soccer game is not among them. Yeesh.
