We’re off in Wales, but somehow I’m still posting. It’s magic! Stuff from Dave’s Thurday Thumb-twiddler (only two weeks and a day late):

1. When was the last time you ever walked out of a movie while it was still playing on screen? Or have you ever?

Here’s a confession I’m glad I’m not actually back in the States when I make: the last movie I walked out of in the middle was The Ring — not because it was bad, but because it was goddamn scary and I was there alone and NOT enjoying myself. I don’t even think I made it halfway… more like a half hour.

ANYWAY, I skulked around like a little bitch, hating my chicken-souled self for a couple weeks, then I went back and tried it a second time. I made it… barely.

Good Movie.

2. What sort of things would you do if you could be as outgoing and uninhibited as you wish?

Error. Does not compute. If I got to have the time to do whatever I wanted, I’d play in a band. I miss that.

3. In an expensive restaurant, after a very nice, enjoyable meal, the waitress brings you your check. You notice you didn’t get charged for one of the items. What, if anything, do you do?

Honestly? I’d confer with my lovely wife. Were it just me, I’d probably point out the error, cuz I like it when the waitstaff thinks I’m some sort of saint — at least that way someone does.

Heh. You walked out of The Ring? I almost did as well. I toughed it out though. I went by myself to the late-night movie in Sioux Falls. I still get a weird feeling when my phone rings sometimes, and when I am working late by myself at the office some nights, I think about . . . No! Time to think about something else.
I encourage everyone to see that movie though. Yes, definitely, go and see it . . . heh heh heh.
