Lori sent me this today and said it reminded her of me.
I always knew this was going to happen. I always knew that skepticism and science were mere psychological decorations and vanities. Deep in our alligator brains we all know that the world is just chock full of evil and monsters and sinister forces aligned against us, and it is only a matter of time until they show up. Evolution know this, too. It knows what to do when the silent terror comes at you from out of the dark.
Thanks. I think. :)

It was just the way he told the story, it reminded me of how animated you get when you're telling a story.
I laughed so hard at work my co-workers thought something was wrong with me.

If it was at my place, there'd be 9 empty 12 guage shells on the floor and my sayin' adios to my damage deposit.
That's why I don't get blimps that fit in the apartment.

I read once that everything is tied to something in our history, we don't like nails on a chalk board because it sounded like Sabre-tooth Megacritter's claws on a rock. Things just are hardwired into us for survival.
I wonder what happend back on the plains of Africa or somewhere in China three quarters of a million years ago that would kick start us when a house-blimp was in the room at night.

OMG! *chuckle, chuckle, snort* Was laughing so hard half way through, that I couldn't read it for my eyes watering up. :D

too funny, oh too funny...
Clovis - just think of a snout of a T-Rex and I think you about have it...
(...knowing there weren't contemporary, but it's about the right shape - and who knows? Maybe we have back-memory to that little rat mammal critters that were contemporary...)

Maybe not a T-Rex, but how about the head of a quiet-stepping sabertooth, tiger or lion to a child?

laugh if you will, but when something similar happened to me, my wife did NOT sleep through my warcry and the 'horror' didn't even have the decency to be actually there. The blimp makes a better story.
...and funny, so funny.
